Diagonal French Twist Around Bun
How to do it:
Begin at top left or right and begin a French Twist.
Twist a section, add a piece, twist a section add a piece.
Wind your way around where you want your bun to be placed.
Secure with bobby pin x.
Draw remaining hair into ponytail. Secure with tie.
Pin ponytail into bun with bobby pin x's around the sides of the bun (hide pins into bun or underneath it if possible.
Keep twisting the original twisted piece and wind it around the bun you created.
Pin around bun.
Secure loose pieces with hair pins (different than bobby pins, tightens up any pieces which are not to your liking)
Voila!
Time to do it: About 4 minutes (due to pinning the bun)
This turned out way more elegant than I anticipated. Would be nice for work, wedding, or nice cocktail event. Would be really pretty with small jewels or a large flower. I like it! And not too complicated. Got it on my first try using a mirror.
