Volumized Hair with Leather Headband
How to do it:
Smooth bangs (for me this requires straightening them). Spray with hairspray to keep sleek. Put on elasticized headband (this one is leather-ette, bungy, H&M)
Tease (I'm sorry, "Back-comb") hair behind the headband. Getting your hair to do this without taking on an Elvira look is quite a challenge. I can't master the happy medium between Country Singing Queen and the Snook. Thwarted by humidity again, this style was not kickin it. Not bad, but not kickin it.
Time to do it: About 5 minutes
This one's kind of a fail. Not that it isn't cute or anything, but I know I haven't achieved desired effect if someone has to ask, "So what is your hair du jour today?" Cute and all, but not entirely successful with the whole "bump." Pero, victory will be mine!
