5 Twist Half Updo
How to do it:
Starting from the middle of the top of your head, choose 1 inch pieces and twist to crown. Pin each twist with a bobby pin (pinning the first twist with a bobby pin x...the rest can anchor on to this). Layer twists over each other. You may need more or fewer than 5 twists. Use your creativity, girlfriend. Finish off with a shiny headband that blends or nearly matches your hair color.
Time to do it: About 3 minutes, but I kept getting interrupted by having to drive. Bummer.
Grateful I have some go-to skillz to adorn my crazy hair. This is the day two from last night and it came out all funny and frizzy when I woke up. The humidity must be whack. Luckily I am becoming a hair-taming master. Mastress? Mistress? Mister? Hmm..
