Floopy Bun w Long Tail
How to do it:
Pull hair up into a medium ponytail. Using a secure elastic, wrap once around the base of the ponytail. Wind it enough times to make it strong enough to hold, but when you tie your final loop don't pull the tail all the way through. Voila!
Time to do it: About 10 seconds
This is the single strongest quick fix I have ever used in my hair. I did this as the beginning of the Fun Bun (Day 94) and never had time to complete it. Wore it to the beach, to bed, and it never moved. I've never had such luck with not having to redo it because it was slipping down my head. For extra embellishment, Stella (my 2 year old) gave me some hair clips. Sort of subtle, but plays up the texture in the hairdo. See the purple peeking out of the bottom picture? Love. And, Stella has a blue one running through her updo today, too. (p.s. The pic from yesterday was junk, so I photographed step one of the Fun Bun here since it's the same thing) xo
