Fun Bun
How to do it:
Pull hair up into a medium ponytail. Using a secure elastic, wrap once around the base of the ponytail. Wind it enough times to make it strong enough to hold, but when you tie your final loop don't pull the tail all the way through. (These are the steps from Day 93: Floopy Bun with Long Tail...also a fun do)
Split remaining tail in two and wrap loosely around the small bun you made. Pin with bobby pins loosely and let small wispies hang out. The more the better. This is supposed to be fun and untamed.
Mine has little girl hair bow/hair "extensions" courtesy of Stella, my two year old. I like the definition they give to the texture of the style. Fun, yet relatively tame.
Time to do it: About a minute and a half
Got this idea from Pinterest. Hers was a high bun on top of her head, but I modified it to a lower piece. I like it! I'll have to let you know how it holds through the day. Maybe I'll take an after picture to help you see how gravity takes over and can improve an existing do. Hope you have a fun day!
