Day 27: Fleur-de-lis Pin-Up

Hair du Jour Day 27: January 27, 2012

Fleur-de-lis Pin-Up

How to do it:
Tie hair into medium to low ponytail (depends on how long your hair is and what look you want to achieve, really.  Play with it...)
Secure heavy hair (like mine) underneath the ponytail holder with bobby pin x's so the base of the ponytail doesn't slip throughout the day.
Twist bottom of ponytail up and play with the placement of the hair.  I snaked the hair around in an "s" pattern and pinned it at the middle and ends with bobby pins and hair pins (there is a difference...I'll explain later).  Mine ended up looking like a small adaptation of a fleur-de-lis.  Cute!

Time to do it: About 1 minute

I think I am officially converted to someone who is willing to take more than one step to get their hair ready in the morning.  Most of the stuff I can do to change up my look take between 10 seconds and one minute anyway.  I went to punk out today and do a basic loose ponytail because technically I haven't used one so far this year in my pics.  The result looked so boring to me in pictures that I started inventing.  Mazel tov!
