Inside-Out Braid
How to do it:
Begin making a french braid. While you are holding your first three pieces, weave under instead of over (cross the pieces underneath the other two instead of over the top of the braid you're making). Continue braiding and adding pieces to your french braid and you get this raised effect above.
Time to do it: About 2 minutes
I have always wondered how people do this! I would like to figure out a way to use this in a multi-braid design or a design that weaves itself into a shape. Score!
